Jeka Snow Camps 2018

Dates & Prices

Our first snow camp departure is on Friday 7th December 2018 and we can offer departures every Friday throughout the winter, which arrive back in the UK on a Saturday (9 day/6 night tour durations) or a Sunday (10 day/7 night). Our last tour arrives back on Sunday 7th April 2019.

There is no price variation; the prices below apply regardless of your chosen departure date.

Reductions:

The above prices are for beginners and include 4 hours tuition per day for 6 days.

For groups requiring only 2 hours per day - deduct £55.00 per person
For advanced groups (no tuition included) - deduct £110.00 per person
If you do not require ski hire - deduct £60.00 per person

Snowboard deductions (2 hour per day not an option)

No Tuition - deduct £110.00 per person
No snowboard hire - deduct £60.00 per person

Prices quoted are subject to the whole group requiring one discipline throughout their camp, i.e. either skiing or snowboard.

What’s included

  • Return travel by modern touring coach and use of coach in resort for ski transfers and evening activities
  • Exclusive use of coach, unless we can combine 2 small groups on one coach to offer a lower price
  • Return ferry crossing, road tolls and taxes
  • Accommodation in your own exclusive centre
  • All meals in resort prepared and cooked by our local staff
  • Ski equipment rental for 6 days (skis/snowboards, boots and poles)
  • 4 hours ski tuition per day x 6 days

What’s extra

  • Ski lift pass – a 6-day pass which covers an extensive area from Warth – Shrocken & local valley lifts (latest price available, winter 2016/17) : 199,00 adults; 176,00 youth (16-19 yrs); 100,00 child (6-15yrs). These are Jeka tariff prices so only available if ordered via Jeka.
  • Drinks with meals other than tea, coffee or hot chocolate
  • Local tourist tax

How to make a booking

  • Make an enquiry. Having read our brochure; you may require more information before making a final decision. Please contact us by telephone, in writing or by e-mail and we’ll be pleased to send more information or to answer any questions you may have.
  • Make a provisional booking. Simply contact us and let us know your chosen dates and group size and we’ll block the space for you for 21 days. Please note: you’re not under any obligation to confirm the booking. This simply gives you time to recruit for the trip and collect in the £20.00 per person deposits from your members.
  • Confirm your booking at the end of your 21 day provisional period. If you wish to go ahead, we require your signed booking form and deposits of £20.00 per person. Upon receipt of this we will forward your booking confirmation. Should we not receive your booking confirmation at this time, your provisional booking will automatically lapse.
  • Pay a second deposit. Six weeks after the first deposit is paid, we require a further deposit of £60.00 per person.
  • Final invoice and balance. A final invoice will be sent to you 10 weeks before departure and this is due for payment no later than 8 weeks before departure. At this stage we shall also ask you for details of your group members including height, boot size etc. for the ordering of ski equipment.
  • Travel pack. Final details of travel times, itinerary etc. will be sent to you approximately 1 month before departure.

Essential Information

Group sizes
Minimum group size required is 25 people, however subject to availability we may be able to accommodate smaller groups who will share transport with another group so that a lower price can be offered to everyone.

Insurance
Insurance Is no longer included as part of the ski package, however it is very important that every group member has full, comprehensive travel insurance. Jeka can put you in contact with an agent who can arrange for group cover, please ask for details.

Health Care Abroad
As a regulation of A.B.T.A we are required to advise all clients to consult their doctors regarding any inoculations required for Austria. All group members should be in possession of a valid EHIC. With your booking confirmation we will provide you with a copy of the Department of Health’s booklet leaflet ‘Access to Healthcare Abroad’.

Passport Information
Passports are required for Austria. It is the party leaders responsibility to arrange either individual passports or a group collective passport and to ensure all party members comply fully with passport and visa regulations for Austria and also transit countries (France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany) www.passport.gov.uk

Deep Vein Thrombosis
We are obliged to make all passengers aware of the risk of DVT while undertaking long journeys by coach or air. For further information

Further information and colour literature are available on the region we feature and can be sent to you on request. Our leaders handbook on the Lech Valley will give full details of evening activities and other local information which will assist you planning your snow camp. Tour advisers are available at certain times of year to give a presentation and answer any questions your group may have. Please contact us if you require any of these services.

Tourist tax (rates correct at Sept 2017)
Everyone over 15yrs pays €1,30 per person per night. On arrival, please give a list of participants to the Jeka representative so that he/she can go to the local ‘Tourismusverband’. They calculate how much you have to pay. During your stay the Jeka representative will collect the amount.
